Move over, Ms L!

Hi all, wondering why you are looking at this jumbled up page? This is due to the fact that Facebook didn't like our url since it starts with wog, so we have been forced to move the blog. This was some time ago, and we have placed a script which would automatically send you to our new location. Obviously, this hasn't worked for all of you, since we have just finished moderating some of your comments which appeared on this site recently, and not on our new (and improved!) site. So what we're saying is head on over to our new site, and update your bookmarks!

New book about the Traveling Wilburys

Genesis Publications are publishing a new, expensive book about George Harrison's "other group", the Traveling Wilburys.
The book is available in two editions: the expensive edition is priced at £195 and the ridiculously expensive edition will set you back £375,-.
THE TRAVELING WILBURYS chronicles the adventures of Nelson, Otis, Lucky, Lefty and Charlie.
Interwoven with hundreds of unseen photographs, Polaroids, drawings, log book entries and handwritten lyric sheets, The Wilburys tell their tale in their own words, with the occasional help of drummer Jim Keltner and others.
THE TRAVELING WILBURYS presents over 150 photographs, most of which have never been seen before. Out-takes from official shoots by Neal Preston, Alberto Tolot and Caroline Greyshock accompany intimate photographs of the Wilburys writing, rehearsing and recording, including an unprecedented collection of Polaroid snapshots by the Wilburys themselves.
From ‘Handle With Care’, writing and recording an album in nine days with the aid of a fridge, and getting band-name advice from Johnny Carson and the Pope; to the untimely passing of Roy Orbison and the ‘Nobody’s Child’ charity record for Romanian orphans, THE TRAVELING WILBURYS is a story of friendship and laughter, shot through with the Python-esque humour that they all enjoyed.

THE COLLECTOR EDITION

THE TRAVELING WILBURYS is a fine-bound book published in a numbered, limited edition of 3,000 copies worldwide, each hand-signed by band member and co-producer Jeff Lynne (aka Otis, aka Clayton Wilbury).
All copies in the edition are bound in a bespoke cloth reproduced from the jacket Nelson Wilbury (aka George Harrison) wore in the video for ‘Handle With Care’. Similarly, each book is accompanied with a facsimile reproduction of the song’s lyrics, handwritten by George. This numbered print is exclusive to the limited edition.
Copy numbers 351-3,000 are housed in a slipcase covered in a brown and yellow tweed.

THE DELUXE EDITION

Numbers 1-350 in the edition are Deluxe copies. As with the Collector edition, every fine-bound book is hand-signed by Jeff Lynne, and comes with a numbered facsimile of the ‘Handle With Care’ lyric sheet, hand-written by George Harrison.
Deluxe copies are a beautiful example of the bookbinders craft, fully bound at the authors' preference in two faux leathers with an onlay on the front cover, hand-tooling and gilded page edging.
Deluxe copies contain a photographic print, published in an edition of 350 copies. The group portrait, by Alberto Tolot, is hand-numbered, suitable for framing and, as a mark of authenticity and approval, the print is embossed with the signatures of all five Wilburys.
Deluxe copies are housed in a hand-crafted travel case, bound in brown and yellow tweed and lined with felt. A folding lid encloses and protects your Deluxe set.
